The St. Louis Battlehawks signed defensive end Demone Harris on Monday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Demone Harris is six foot four and weighs 265 pounds. The 30-year-old from Buffalo, New York, signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent on April 30, 2018. He also spent time with the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, Houston Texans, Atlanta Falcons, and the San Francisco 49ers. He was on the practice squad when the Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV in 2020.
Harris made 22 tackles (9 solos, 13 assists), three tackles for loss, four quarterback hits, and two pass breakups in 23 games, of which one was a start. The San Francisco 49ers signed Harris on August 14, 2025. In 2025, he made one tackle (1 solo), one sack, and one quarterback hit in one preseason game. The 49ers released him on August 20, 2025.
Collegiately, Harris spent four seasons at Buffalo (2014-17) with 107 tackles (59 solos, 48 assists), 18 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, one interception for 26 yards, three pass breakups, five forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 43 games for the Bulls. He was named Second Team All-MAC in 2017.
