The B.C. Lions signed linebacker Marvin Grant on Friday.

Marvin Grant is six foot two and weighs 210 pounds. A native of Detroit, Michigan, Grant attended the Kansas City Chiefs rookie minicamp in 2025.

Collegiately, Grant spent three seasons at Purdue (2019-21) with 91 tackles (67 solos, 24 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, three pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 20 games for the Boilermakers. In 2021, he had a career-high 75 tackles (52 solos, 23 assists), 2.5 tackles for loss, and three pass breakups in 13 games. He was named Academic All-Big Ten in 2020.

Then, he transferred to Kansas (2022-24) with 163 tackles (109 solos, 54 assists), 10 tackles for loss, three sacks, eight pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 38 games for the Jayhawks. In 2024, he made 59 tackles (40 solos, 19 assists), four tackles for loss, three sacks, and six pass breakups in 12 games.
