The Houston Gamblers signed offensive lineman Dominic Boyd on Friday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Dominic Boyd is six foot three and weighs 309 pounds. A native of Tucker, Georgia, Boyd signed with the Memphis Showboats on May 19, 2025. In 2025, he started one game. Memphis averaged 166.2 yards passing, 3.5 yards rushing, 252 total yards, 12 touchdowns, 14.8 points per game, and allowed 20 sacks, finishing 2-8 for the season.

The Las Vegas Raiders signed Boyd as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025, and he was released on May 12, 2025.

Collegiately, Boyd played three seasons at Alabama State (2021-23), playing 21 games for the Hornets. In 2023, he played 10 games. Alabama State averaged 20.64 points per game, 111 rushing yards per game, 188.91 passing yards per game, 299.9 total yards per game, 30 touchdowns, and allowed 15 sacks, finishing 7-4 for the season. He was named Second Team All-SWAC.

Then, he transferred to Georgia Southern in 2024, playing 775 snaps in 11 games for the Eagles. In 2024, Georgia Southern averaged 28 points per game, 127.6 rushing yards per game, 237.77 passing yards per game, 365.4 total yards per game, 46 touchdowns, and allowed 16 sacks, finishing 8-5 for the season.
