The Paris Musketeers re-signed wide receiver Austin Mitchell for the 2026 season on Sunday.
Austin Mitchell is five foot nine and weighs 170 pounds. The 27-year-old from Plaquemine, Louisiana, re-signed with the Musketeers on January 21, 2025. In 2025, he made 47 catches for 600 yards and nine touchdowns in 12 games. In the playoffs, he made seven catches for 118 yards and two touchdowns.
Mitchell played for the Dresden Monarchs (GFL) in 2023 with 94 catches for 1,627 yards, 20 touchdowns, nine kick returns for 199 yards, and eight punt returns for 74 yards in nine games. He led the GFL in catches (94), yards (1,627), and touchdowns (20), helping the Monarchs reach the playoff semifinals.
The Paris Musketeers signed Mitchell on January 24, 2024. In 2024, Mitchell made 65 catches for 1,010 yards, 14 touchdowns, seven carries for 41 yards, and two tackles (2 solos) in 12 games. In the 2024 ELF playoffs, Mitchell made seven catches for 118 yards, two touchdowns, one tackle (1 solo), and one fumble recovery.
Collegiately, Michell played five seasons at Southeastern Louisiana University (2017-21) with 170 catches for 2,735 yards, 24 touchdowns, 39 carries for 261 yards, 22 kick returns for 460 yards, and 21 punt returns for 176 yards in 46 games for the Lions. He was a two-time Third Team All-Southland Conference.
