The Repco Supercars Championship held Race 31 on Sunday at Sandown Raceway for the second race of the Penrite Oil Sandown 500. Broc Feeney started the race on the pole, with Anton De Pasquale starting second. The race started in rainy conditions before clearing later in the race.

The race was delayed for 20 minutes due to an oil spill earlier in the day that canceled a Super Utes race. Once the race started, Feeney retained the lead heading into Turn 1. He led the opening four laps before Anton De Pasquale passed him for the lead at Turn 1.

When the rain came, drivers went to pit road to put on wet tires. De Pasquale maintained his lead over Feeney. On lap 14, De Pasquale slid at Turn 2 and Feeney capitalized to take the lead. Both drivers were seven seconds ahead of James Golding.

As the rain stopped and the track began to clear, drivers were looking for wet spots to cool their tires. On lap 35, Chaz Mostert went to pit road for slick tires, and everyone else soon followed after. Once pit stops were done, Feeney maintained his lead over De Pasquale.

Late in the race, Cam Waters and Matthew Payne were in a heated battle for fourth place. The two would collide, causing severe damage to both cars that took them out of contention and out of the championship.

Meanwhile, Will Brown was in third place and closing in on De Pasquale, but De Pasquale held him off to take second place. Broc Feeney would go on to win the race by 4.376 seconds, snapping a three-month-long losing streak. It was his 13th win of the season. Feeney, Chaz Mostert, Will Brown, and Kai Allen will race for the championship in two weeks.

Will Brown, Chaz Mostert, and Brodie Kostecki rounded out the top five. Kai Allen, James Courtney, Bryce Fullwood, David Reynolds, and Andre Heimgartner completed the top ten.

The Repco Supercars Championship concludes the 2025 season at BP Adelaide Grand Final from the Adelaide Parklands in Adelaide, South Australia, on November 27-30. NASCAR driver Austin Cindric will compete in the race.
