The Memphis Showboats released offensive lineman Alec Lindstrom on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page as he is signing with the New England Patriots, as first reported by Michael Del Negro.
Alec Lindstrom is six foot three and weighs 296 pounds. The 27-year-old from Dudley, Massachusetts, re-signed with the Memphis Showboats on February 17, 2025. In 2025, he played 10 games, of which nine were starts.
In 2025, Memphis averaged 166.2 yards passing, 3.5 yards rushing, 252 total yards, 12 touchdowns, 14.8 points per game, and allowed 20 sacks finishing 2-8 for the season.
The New York Jets signed Lindstrom on October 9, 2024. He spent a week on the practice squad before being released on October 17, 2024. The Jets re-signed him on October 23, 2024. He dressed for one game before the Jets released him again on November 16, 2024.
Lindstrom signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2022, and spent the season on the practice squad. The Cowboys released him on August 29, 2023.
Lindstrom signed with the Memphis Showboats on January 24, 2024. In 2024, Lindstrom played 10 games, of which four were starts. Memphis’s offense ranked last in total yards (2,303), rushing yards (650), passing yards (1,633), yards per game (230.3), and seventh in touchdowns (21). The Showboats released him on August 6, 2024.
The Los Angeles Rams signed Lindstrom on August 7, 2024. He played two preseason games for the Rams. The Rams released him on August 25, 2024.
Collegiately, Lindstrom played five seasons at Boston College (2017-21) playing center in 46 games, of which 36 were starts for the Eagles. In 2020, Boston College’s offense rushed for 1,119 yards and 11 rushing touchdowns on the season. Lindstrom was named a two-time First Team All-ACC (2020-21) and Third Team All-ACC in 2019.
