Corey Heim won his fourth race of the season on Friday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series visited Charlotte Motor Speedway on Friday night in the North Carolina Education Lottery 200. Giovanni Ruggiero started the race on the pole with Tanner Gray starting second.

Giovanni led the opening two laps and Corey Heim led two laps before Ross Chastain took the lead on lap five. Chastain led 11 laps before Corey Heim passed him for the lead on lap 16. Heim led 16 laps to win the first stage.

Kaden Honeycutt was the new leader to start stage two on lap 39. A lap later, Corey Heim passed Kyle Busch for second place and then passed Honeycutt for the lead. Heim and Honeycutt traded the lead several times before Heim took it for good on lap 45. Heim pulled away to win the second stage. It was his eighth stage win of the season.

Everyone made pit stops with Kaden Honeycutt emerging as the leader with Corey Heim second and Layne Riggs third. Honeycutt cleared Heim for the lead thanks to a push by Ross Chastain.

However, both Chastain and Heim got by Honeycutt on lap 69 until Chastain got loose at Turn 3. Behind them, Giovanni Ruggiero made contact with Chandler Smith, who spins Ty Majeski. During the crash, BJ McLeod and Connor Mosack also made contact with the outside wall leading to the third caution of the night.

Corey Heim continued to lead on the restart. He would make a pit stop on lap 105. He would regain the lead on lap 117 and led the last 18 laps to win his fourth race of the season by 6.229 seconds over Ross Chastain. Heim dominated the race leading 98 laps. The rest of the top five finishers were Kaden Honeycutt third, Layne Riggs fourth, and Kyle Busch fifth. There were 14 lead changes and three cautions for 20 laps.
