
The Toronto Argonauts released offensive lineman Ethan Pyle on Thursday.
Ethan Pyle is six foot two and weighs 284 pounds. The 23-year-old from Milton, Ontario, was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the seventh round (64th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft. The Argonauts signed him on May 2, 2025.
Collegiately, Pyle played five seasons at the University of Guelph (2020-24) playing 30 games for the Gryphons. In 2024, Guelph averaged 31.10 points per game, 207.1 rushing yards per game, 261.80 passing yards per game, 449.4 total yards per game, 36 touchdowns, and allowed 30 sacks finishing 7-3 for the season.
Toronto also made the following moves. They placed linebacker Brian Harelimana, defensive back Mark Milton, and long snapper Adam Guillemette to the suspended list, while adding kicker Alfredo Gachuz-Lozada and defensive back Jai Nunn-Liddell to the active roster.
