
The Memphis Showboats re-signed defensive tackle Dillon Faamatau on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Dillon Faamatau is six foot three and weighs 295 pounds. The 27-year-old from Norwalk, California, re-signed with the Memphis Showboats on August 26, 2024. He attended training camp and was released on March 20, 2025.
Faamatau played two seasons with the Arizona Rattlers (IFL) making 31 tackles (19 solos, 12 assists), 3 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, one quarterback hit, and one blocked kick in 18 games.
Then, Faamatau signed with the Memphis Showboats in 2023. He made 11 tackles (6 solos, 5 assists) and 1 tackle for loss in 4 games in 2023. In 2024, Faamatau made 10 tackles (6 solos, 4 assists), one tackle for loss, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 10 games.
Collegiately, Faamatau started at Arizona State in 2015 but did not play for the Sun Devils. Next, he transferred to Cerritos College in 2016 making 32 tackles (10 solos, 22 assists), 2.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, and 1 blocked punt in 10 games for the Falcons. Then, he transferred to Oklahoma (2017-19) making 31 tackles (11 solos, 20 assists, 2.5 tackles for loss, and one pass breakup in 41 games for the Sooners.
