
The Montreal Alouettes selected nine players in the 2025 CFL Draft on Tuesday night. Here are the players headed to Montreal.
Tiger Shanks is six foot five and weighs 325 pounds. The 23-year-old from Lake Oswego, Oregon, was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the first round (5th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Shanks played five seasons at UNLV (2020-24) playing 51 games for the Rebels. In 2024, UNLV averaged 35.36 points per game, 243.5 rushing yards per game, 172.64 passing yards per game, 416.1 total yards per game, 59 touchdowns, and allowed 32 sacks finishing 11-3 for the season on their way to winning the LA Bowl. He was named a two-time First Team All-Mountain West Conference.
Nate Beauchemin is six foot one and weighs 204 pounds. The 22-year-old from Kelowna, British Columbia, was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the second round (14th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Beauchemin played four seasons at the University of Calgary (2021-24) making 142 tackles (80 solos, 62 assists), 3.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, eight interceptions for 269 yards, three touchdowns, 14 pass breakups, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, two blocked kicks, and one punt return for 11 yards in 28 games for the Dinos.
Gabriel Lessard is six foot one and weighs 233 pounds. The 25-year-old from Sainte-Julie, Quebec, was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the third round (23rd pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Lessard played four seasons at the University of Montreal (2021-24) making 41 tackles, one tackle for loss, and one sack in 34 games for the Carabins.
Hakeem Harris is six foot three and weighs 210 pounds. The 24-year-old from Markham, Ontario, was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the third round (26th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Harris played five seasons at Davenport University (2020-24) making 18 catches for 267 yards, one touchdown, eight tackles (5 solos, 3 assists), and half tackle for loss in 26 games for the Panthers.
Keanu Yazbeck is six foot and weighs 212 pounds. The 23-year-old from Kirkland, Quebec, was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the fourth round (35th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Yazbeck played four seasons at Western University (2021-24) with 190 carries for 1,667 yards, 14 touchdowns, 16 catches for 208 yards, one touchdown, 17 kick returns for 377 yards, and three tackles (3 solos) in 31 games for the Mustangs.
Gabriel Maisonneuve is six foot three and weighs 236 pounds. The 24-year-old from Gatineau, Quebec was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the fifth round (44th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Maisonneuve played four seasons at the University of Montreal (2021-24) making 47 tackles, nine sacks, and three forced fumbles in 31 games for the Carabins.
Isaac Gaillardetz is six foot two and weighs 217 pounds. The 23-year-old from Three Rivers, Quebec, was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the sixth round (53rd pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Gaillardetz played four seasons at the University of Laval (2021-24) making 66 catches for 920 yards, and seven touchdowns in 32 games for the Rouge et Or.
Jonathan Senecal is six foot and weighs 201 pounds. The 25-year-old from Montreal, Quebec, was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the seventh round (62nd pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Senecal began at UConn in 2020 but the Huskies canceled their season due to COVID-19. Then, Senecal transferred to the University of Montreal (2021-24). In 2024, Senecal completed 181 of 253 passes (71.5%) for 2,320 yards, 15 touchdowns, six interceptions, 27 carries for 278 yards, and three touchdowns in eight games. He helped Montreal win the 2023 Vanier Cup.
Riley MacLeod is six foot and weighs 228 pounds. The 22-year-old from Hamilton, Ontario, was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the eighth round (70th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, MacLeod played four seasons at Western University (2021-24) making 236 tackles (108 solos, 128 assists), 11 tackles for loss, six sacks, one interception, five pass breakups, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one kick return for 17 yards in 43 games for the Mustangs.
