The Reading Royals were eliminated from the ECHL playoffs Monday night at the Santander Arena with a 4-2 loss against the Newfoundland Growlers.
Reading Royals’ forwards Patrick Bajkov (3) and Brad Morrison (3) scored the two goals, while Noel Hoefenmayer (4), Ben Finkelstein (5), Derian Plouffe (4), and Isaac Johnson (3) scored for Newfoundland.
The Royals finished the night with 16 shots, 0/2 on the power-play, and Pat Nagle made 31 of 35 saves.
