On Saturday night at Protective Stadium, the Birmingham Stallions (3-0) defeated the New Orleans Breakers (2-1) in a battle of two undefeated teams by the final score of 22-13.
Birmingham Stallions quarterback J’Mar Smith went 15/38 for 197-yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and eight carries for 59-yards.
Stallions’ running back CJ Marable had 16 carries for 36-yards, while wide receiver Victor Bolden Jr. had six catches for 70-yards and one touchdown. The Stallions’ defense had 97 tackles, four sacks, one interception, and eight pass breakups.
New Orleans Breakers quarterback Kyle Sloter was 26/47 for 240-yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Breakers’ running back Jordan Ellis had 25 carries for 90-yards, while wide receiver Johnnie Dixon had seven catches for 86-yards and two touchdowns. The Breakers’ defense had 66 tackles, one sack, one interception, and five pass breakups.
