On Tuesday, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed former Calgary Stampeders linebackers Eric Mezzalira.

The club has signed Canadian linebacker Eric Mezzalira.

Erica Mezzalira (28-years-old) played two seasons (2018-19) in Calgary with 11 tackles and one forced fumble in 25 games. In 2018, he had five tackles on special teams as the Stampeders won the Grey Cup. Calgary drafted Mezzalira in the second round (17^th pick) in the 2018 CFL Draft from McMaster.

Mezzalira spent four seasons (2014-17) at McMaster with 141 tackles, two sacks, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and two pass breakups in 36 games.
