The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed wide receiver Matthew Henry, offensive lineman Nouredin Nouili, and defensive lineman Thiadric Hansen to the practice squad on Saturday, according to the CFL Transactions page.
Matthew Henry is six foot one and weighs 180 pounds. The 23-year-old from Miami, Florida, attended the San Francisco 49ers rookie minicamp before signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent on August 25, 2026. The Buccaneers released him on August 30, 2026.
Collegiately, Henry spent three seasons at Livingstone College (2021-23) with 66 catches for 840 yards, eight touchdowns, three carries for 22 yards, five kick returns for 64 yards, one punt return for 33 yards, and one fumble recovery in 15 games for the Black Bears.
Next, he transferred to Western Illinois in 2024, where he was named First Team All-Big South-OVC Football Association and Third Team All-American by FCS Football after finishing the season with 64 catches for 1,211 yards, six touchdowns, and one carry for -7 yards in 12 games for the Leathernecks.
Then, he transferred to Western Kentucky University in 2025, earning Second Team All-CUSA and Second Team All-CUSA by Phil Steele after finishing the season with 55 catches for 888 yards, six touchdowns, three carries for -6 yards, two kick returns for 52 yards, one returning touchdown, and one tackle (1 assist) in 13 games for the Hilltoppers.
Nouredin Nouili is six foot four and weighs 315 pounds. The 25-year-old from Frankfurt, Germany, signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on December 8, 2025. He was on the suspended list on May 17, 2026, and did not play for the Redblacks in 2026. The Redblacks released him on September 1, 2026.
The New Orleans Saints signed Nouili as an undrafted free agent on April 28, 2024. The Montreal Alouettes drafted Nouili in the second round (18th pick) of the 2024 CFL Global Draft.
The Alouettes signed Nouili to the practice squad on September 3, 2024. In 2025, Nouili played right guard in two preseason games. He spent the season on the practice squad. The Alouettes released him on November 17, 2025.
Collegiately, Nouili played one season at Colorado State in 2019, playing guard in eight games for the Rams. He became the first true freshman to start on the offensive line since Blaine Saipaia in 1996, when he started at guard in the season opener against Colorado.
Then, Nouili transferred to Nebraska (2020-23), playing left guard in 23 games for the Cornhuskers. In 2023, Nouili played a big role in Nebraska, ranking second in the Big Ten in rushing.
Thiadric Hansen is six foot two and weighs 254 pounds. The 33-year-old from Flensburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, made nine tackles on special teams in 11 games in 2025. The Argonauts re-signed Hansen on February 2, 2026. He attended training camp before the Argonauts released him on May 13, 2026.
The Blue Bombers drafted Hansen in the first round (2nd pick) of the 2019 CFL European Draft. Hansen played four seasons in Winnipeg with 19 tackles, 21 tackles on special teams, four sacks, and two forced fumbles in 46 games. In 2023, he made three tackles in four games. He is a two-time Grey Cup champion.
The Toronto Argonauts signed Hansen on February 13, 2024. In 2024, he made four tackles, 10 tackles on special teams, and one sack in 12 games when the Argonauts won the 111th Grey Cup over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Internationally, Hansen played seven seasons for the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes (GFL) with 527 tackles, 62 tackles for loss, 8 sacks, and 7 interceptions to become the team’s all-time leader in tackles. In addition, he played for the Potsdam Royals and the Wroclaw Panthers.
