The Fayetteville Woodpeckers (71-58, 39-25) took on the Hickory Crawdads (82-47, 48-17) in the final game of the regular season on Sunday at L.P. Frans Stadium. Charlie Weber was on the mound for Fayetteville against Josh Owens for Hickory.

The game was scoreless in the first inning and a half. Each team had a hit before rain fell at L.P. Frans Stadium, sending the game into a weather delay. The game would eventually be cancelled. Charlie Weber threw 19 pitches, of which 11 were strikes.

The Woodpeckers return to Segra Stadium for Game 1 of the Carolina League North Division playoffs against the Fredericksburg Nationals on Tuesday at 6:35 pm on the MLB App and Bally Sports Live.
