The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed defensive lineman Nicholas Lenon to a future contract on Saturday, according to the CFL Transactions page.
Nicholas Lenon is six foot two and weighs 250 pounds. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Lenon played for the Fishers Freight of the Indoor Football League in 2026 with 22 tackles (12 solos, 10 assists), nine tackles for loss, two sacks, and one fumble recovery in 10 games.
Collegiately, Lenon spent six seasons at Merrimack College (2019-24) with 142 tackles (87 solos, 55 assists), 47.5 tackles for loss, 26 sacks, four pass breakups, four forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, and one blocked kick in 51 games for the Warriors.
In 2021, he was named Second Team All-Conference after finishing the season with 27 tackles (16 solos, 11 assists), eight tackles for loss, three sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick in 11 games. In 2024, he made a career-high 40 tackles (26 solos, 14 assists), 15 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 11 games.
