Anthony Wilson is five foot nine and weighs 190 pounds. The 25-year-old from Columbia, South Carolina, signed with the Toronto Argonauts on February 5, 2026. In 2026, he made two tackles and one tackle on special teams in one preseason game. In the regular season, he made 10 tackles in two games.
Collegiately, Wilson spent four seasons at Georgia Southern (2019-23) with 246 tackles (145 solos, 101 assists), 10.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, two interceptions for four yards, 23 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 39 games for the Eagles.
He was named Third Team All-Sun Belt Conference, Third Team All-Sun Belt Conference by Phil Steele and a two-time All-Sun Belt Conference Honorable Mention. In 2022, he made 101 tackles (60 solos, 41 assists), 3.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one interception for four yards, six pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 13 games.
Then, he transferred to West Virginia (2023-24) with 181 tackles (105 solos, 76 assists), 1.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions for 79 yards, one touchdown, and eight pass breakups in 26 games for the Mountaineers. In 2024, he tied his career-high 101 tackles (51 solos, 50 assists), two interceptions for 79 yards, one touchdown, and three pass breakups in 13 games.
