The Philadelphia Eagles signed Orlando Storm defensive back Jaylen Mahoney on Monday.

Jaylen Mahoney is five foot eleven and weighs 188 pounds. The 25-year-old from Rock Hill, South Carolina, was drafted by the Orlando Storm in the 2026 UFL Draft. In 2026, he made 26 tackles (17 solos, 9 assists), one tackle for loss, and two pass breakups in six games before an injury ended his season.

The San Francisco 49ers signed Mahoney as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. He spent two seasons in San Francisco with 17 tackles (12 solos, 5 assists), two pass breakups in six preseason games, and three tackles (1 solo, 2 assists) in three regular season games. The 49ers released him from the practice squad on October 7, 2025. The New York Jets signed Mahoney to the practice squad on December 16, 2025.

Collegiately, Mahoney spent five seasons at Vanderbilt University (2019-23) with 247 tackles (160 solos, 87 assists), 16 tackles for loss, four sacks, four interceptions, 18 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and four fumble recoveries in 54 games for the Commodores. He was named a two-time captain and an All-SEC Honorable Mention in 2023.
