The Montreal Alouettes signed defensive back Neil Campbell on Tuesday.

Neil Campbell is five foot eleven and weighs 205 pounds. The 24-year-old from Chicago, Illinois, attended a rookie minicamp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2026.

Collegiately, Campbell spent five seasons at Indiana Wesleyan University (2020-24) with 212 tackles (128 solos, 84 assists), nine tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, 16 interceptions, one touchdown, 42 pass breakups, one forced fumble, three fumble recoveries, three blocked kicks, 22 kick returns for 434 yards, and 19 punt returns for 195 yards in 49 games for the Wildcats.

In 2023, he made a career-high 61 tackles (37 solos, 24 assists), 1.5 tackles for loss, six interceptions, seven pass breakups, one fumble recovery, two blocked kicks, 22 kick returns for 434 yards, and 19 punt returns for 195 yards in 11 games. He was named a three-time First Team All-Mideast, Second Team All-American by AFCA and the Associated Press, Second Team All-Mideast, and an All-Mideast Honorable Mention.

Then, he transferred to the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) in 2025 with 56 tackles (26 solos, 30 assists), six tackles for loss, two sacks, three pass breakups, and one forced fumble in nine games for the Miners.
