The Montreal Alouettes signed linebacker John Miller and defensive back Kobe Singleton on Thursday, according to the CFL Transactions page.
John Miller is six foot one and weighs 225 pounds. A native of Tualatin, Oregon, Miller attended the Denver Broncos rookie minicamp in 2026.
Collegiately, Miller spent four seasons at Oregon State University (2020-23) with 22 tackles (10 solos, 12 assists), one tackle for loss, two pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 30 games for the Beavers.
Then, Miller transferred to Utah State University (2024-25) with 170 tackles (68 solos, 102 assists), 15.5 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, five pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 24 games for the Aggies. In 2025, he was named First Team All-Mountain West after finishing the season with a career-high 118 tackles (39 solos, 79 assists), 10 tackles for loss, eight sacks, three pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 13 games.
Kobe Singleton is five foot eleven and weighs 188 pounds. A native of Tallahassee, Florida, Singleton spent two seasons at Liberty (2022-23) with 67 tackles (51 solos, 18 assists), six interceptions, one touchdown, 24 pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 27 games for the Flames. Then, he transferred to Oregon State University (2024-25) with 34 tackles (22 solos, 12 assists), one tackle for loss, and seven pass breakups in 16 games for the Beavers.
