The Calgary Stampeders signed offensive lineman Bradley Ashmore and released wide receiver Vyshonne Janusas and offensive lineman Tomas Jack-Kurdyla on Tuesday.
Bradley Ashmore is six foot six and weighs 303 pounds. The 23-year-old from Neptune Beach, Florida, was protected by the St. Louis Battlehawks in the 2026 UFL Reserve Player List. In 2026, Ashmore played ten games, of which nine were starts. St. Louis averaged 304.2 yards per game, 219.7 passing yards per game, 84.5 rushing yards per game, 20 touchdowns, and allowed 24 sacks, finishing 6-4 for the season.
Ashmore attended the Miami Dolphins rookie minicamp in 2024. The St. Louis Battlehawks drafted Ashmore in the fourth round (29th pick) of the 2024 UFL College Draft. He signed with the Battlehawks on July 17, 2024. In 2025, played 10 games, of which two were starts.
St. Louis averaged 23.1 points per game, 289.8 yards per game, 145.6 passing yards per game, 144.2 rushing yards per game, 23 touchdowns, and allowed 22 sacks, finishing 8-2 for the season. The Battlehawks would appear in the XFL Conference Championship game against the D.C. Defenders.
Collegiately, Ashmore played four seasons at Vanderbilt (2020-24), playing left guard, right guard, and right tackle in 40 games for the Commodores. In 2023, Ashmore earned a Pro Football Focus run block grade of 77.4, the sixth-best among SEC offensive linemen.
Vyshonne Janusas is five foot eleven and weighs 221 pounds. The 25-year-old from Windsor, Ontario, re-signed with the Stampeders on November 18, 2025. In 2026, he made two catches for 12 yards in two games before he was placed on the practice squad.
The Calgary Stampeders drafted Janusas in the fifth round (38th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft. In 2025, Janusas made two catches for 14 yards in 10 games. The Stampeders released him on November 2, 2025.
Collegiately, Janusas played three seasons at the University of Guelph (2022-24) with 71 catches for 1,010 yards, eight touchdowns, three carries for four yards, completing one pass for 32 yards, 30 kick returns for 800 yards, one touchdown, and three tackles (2 solos, 1 assist) in 16 games for the Gryphons. In 2024, he made 37 catches for 546 yards, three touchdowns, 18 kick returns for 506 yards, one touchdown, and two tackles (2 solos) in eight games.
Tomas Jack-Kurdyla is six foot four and weighs 300 pounds. The 30-year-old from Montreal, Quebec, re-signed with the Stampeders on January 6, 2026. In 2026, he appeared in two games and spent five games on the reserve list.
The Edmonton Elks drafted Jack-Kurdyla in the first round (4th pick) of the 2020 CFL Draft. In three seasons with Edmonton, Jack-Kurdyla has played 42 games, of which 36 were starts.
In 2023, Jack-Kurdyla started in all 18 games for the Elks. In 2023, Edmonton’s offense ranked last in points per game (20.4), fifth in touchdowns (41), seventh in average total yards (324.9), third in average rushing yards (123.6), eighth in average passing yards (221.1), and fifth in sacks allowed (52).
The Elks re-signed Jack-Kurdyla on January 24, 2024. In 2024, Jack-Kurdyla played three games after dealing with a knee injury for the majority of the season.
Edmonton’s offense averaged 28 points per game, 390.3 net offense per game, 131.4 rushing yards per game, 271.7 passing yards per game, and 29 sacks allowed, finishing 7-11 in the 2024 season. The Elks released him on May 5, 2025.
Tomas Jack-Kurdyla signed with the Calgary Stampeders on May 14, 2025. In 2025, he appeared in nine games. Calgary’s offense averaged 24.8 points per game, 375.6 net offense per game, 261.9 passing yards per game, 126.7 rushing yards per game, 44 touchdowns, and allowed 33 sacks. The Stampeders finished the season with an 11-7 record, losing to the B.C. Lions in the Western Semi-Final.
Collegiately, Jack-Kurdyla played four seasons at the University of Buffalo (2016-19), playing 48 games at right guard with one tackle (1 solo) for the Bulls. In 2019, the Bulls’ offense rushed for a school-record 3,256 yards and allowed a program-low eight sacks.
