The Winnipeg Blue Bombers released wide receiver Christian Fredericksen, offensive lineman Micah Mazzccua, and defensive back Kaylin Moore from the practice squad on Wednesday.
Christian Fredericksen is six foot four and weighs 208 pounds. The 24-year-old from Rigby, Idaho, signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on April 8, 2026. In 2026, he made six catches for 79 yards in two preseason games, earning a spot on the practice squad.
Collegiately, Fredericksen spent five seasons at Idaho State University (2020-24) with 164 catches for 2,312 yards and 18 touchdowns in 49 games for the Tigers. He concluded his collegiate career as one of the top-10 receivers in school history.
In 2023, Fredericksen made 53 catches for 791 yards and five touchdowns. In 2024, he was named First Team All-Big Sky Conference after finishing the season with a career-high 67 catches for 936 yards and nine touchdowns. He averaged 6.1 catches per game and 85.1 yards per game.
Micah Mazzccua is six foot five and weighs 325 pounds. The 24-year-old from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, attended the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs rookie minicamps in 2025. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed Mazzccua on January 26, 2026. In 2026, he played right guard and left guard in two preseason games, and played in one regular season game in Week 5 against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Collegiately, Mazzccua spent three seasons at Baylor (2020-22), playing right guard in 20 games for the Bears. In 2022, He started 11 games. Baylor averaged 32.2 points per game, 413.8 yards per game, 231.5 passing yards per game, 182.4 rushing yards per game, and 56 touchdowns.
Next, he transferred to Florida in 2023, starting right guard in 11 games for the Gators. Florida averaged 21.6 points per game, 341.3 yards per game, 204.6 passing yards per game, 136.8 rushing yards per game, and 29 touchdowns.
Then, he transferred to Nebraska in 2024, playing right guard and left tackle in nine games for the Cornhuskers. Nebraska averaged 23.5 points per game, 359 yards per game, 228.4 passing yards per game, 130.6 rushing yards per game, and 38 touchdowns.
Kaylin Moore is five foot eleven and weighs 190 pounds. The 23-year-old from Los Angeles, California, attended a rookie minicamp with the Washington Commanders in 2025. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed Moore to the practice squad on June 18, 2026.
Collegiately, Moore spent two seasons at Colorado (2021-22) with 44 tackles (31 solos, 13 assists), one tackle for loss, and three pass breakups in 17 games for the Buffaloes. Next, he transferred to California in 2023 with 24 tackles (13 solos, 11 assists), 1.5 tackles for loss, and two pass breakups in 11 games for the Golden Bears.
Then, he transferred to UCLA in 2024, where he was named an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention after finishing the season with a career-high 37 tackles (28 solos, 9 assists), two tackles for loss, one interception, 10 pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 12 games for the Bruins.
Moore is the son of Kelvin Moore, who played college football at Iowa State and played for the Cincinnati Bengals. His uncle, Travis Moore, played in the NFL and CFL with the Calgary Stampeders, winning two Grey Cup titles in 1998 and 2001. Moore also played three seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders from 2003 to 2005.
In his CFL career, Moore made 645 catches for 9,930 yards, 79 touchdowns, nine carries for 46 yards, 32 punt returns for 282 yards, one missed field goal return for 26 yards, 20 tackles, and two tackles on special teams in 157 games. In 2001, he also played for the San Francisco Demons of the XFL with 20 catches for 172 yards, two touchdowns, and one carry for nine yards in eight games.
He was also named a three-time CFL All-Star and a three-time CFL West All-Star. He also won two more Grey Cups as a coach in 2011 with the B.C. Lions and in 2016 with the Ottawa Redblacks as a wide receivers coach.
