The Fayetteville Woodpeckers announced on Friday that outfielder Kenni Gomez was promoted to Double-A Corpus Christi Hooks.

Kenni Gomez is six foot and weighs 201 pounds. The 21-year-old from Bayamo, Cuba, batted .189 AVG, .305 OBP, .207 SLG, .512 OPS, with 21 hits, 16 runs, two doubles, five RBIs, 17 walks, struck out 30 times, eight stolen bases, twice hit by a pitch, and caught stealing two times in 11 at-bats playing 35 games.

He concludes his run in Fayetteville, batting .246 AVG, .329 OBP, .362 SLG, .692 OPS, with 108 hits, 60 runs, 25 doubles, four triples, six home runs, 40 RBIs, 21 stolen bases, caught stealing four times, and was hit by a pitch five times in 439 at-bats playing 122 games.

In High-A Asheville Tourists, Gomez batted .239 AVG, .282 OBP, .351 SLG, .632 OPS, with 101 hits, 46 runs, 20 doubles, three triples, seven home runs, 55 RBIs, 29 stolen bases, caught stealing nine times, 23 walks, and was hit by a pitch three times in 422 at-bats in 109 games.
