The Toronto Argonauts signed kicker Brady Lidster on Wednesday.
Brady Lidster is six foot and weighs 185 pounds. The 22-year-old from St. Thomas, Ontario, was drafted by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the eighth round (69th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft. In 2026, Lidster had six kickoffs for 410 yards (68.3 AVG) with a long of 73 yards, and made 3 of 4 field goals (75%) with a long of 61 yards, and four extra points in two preseason games. The Blue Bombers released him on May 30, 2026.
Collegiately, Lidster spent four seasons at the University of Windsor (2022-25), making 81 of 107 field goals (75.7%), 72 kickoffs for 4,215 yards (58.5 AVG), two touchbacks, punting the ball 90 times for 3,473 yards (38.6 AVG), with a long of 61 yards, two carries for 34 yards, and five tackles (4 solos, 1 assist) in 38 games for the Lancers. He was named First Team U Sports All-Canadian in 2025.
