The Houston Astros made a trade on Wednesday, acquiring prospect Jadyn Fielder from the Milwaukee Brewers for RHP Lance McCullers Jr., LHP Colton Gordon, and cash considerations.
Jadyn Fielder is six foot one and weighs 210 pounds. The 21-year-old from Windermere, Florida, was playing for the Wilson Warbirds in 2026, batting .233 AVG, .415 OBP, .398 SLG, .813 OPS with 31 hits, 34 runs, 11 doubles, one triple, three home runs, 23 RBIs, 33 walks, struck out 43 times, 10 stolen bases, and two caught stealing in 133 at-bats, playing 45 games.
Fielder is the grandson of MLB player Cecil Fielder, and the son of former Milwaukee player Prince Fielder. He attended High School at the TNXL Academy in Longwood, Florida.
In 2025, Fielder played for the Milwaukee’s Arizona Complex League, a rookie-league in which he batted .268 AVG, .426 OBP, .444 SLG, .870 OPS, 38 hits, 30 runs, six doubles, five triples, three home runs, 26 RBIs, 30 walks, struck out 41 times, eight stolen bases, and caught stealing four times in 142 at-bats, playing 48 games.
