The NTT IndyCar Series held qualifying on Saturday to set the field for Sunday’s XPEL Grand Prix at Road America in Plymouth, Wisconsin.

Alex Palou won his fifth consecutive pole of the season, and the sixth of the year, with a lap time of 1:43.6615 at 139.400 mph. It was Palou’s 18th career NTT IndyCar Pole. Palou is also the first driver since Danny Sullivan in 1988 to win five straight poles. David Malukas qualified second with a lap time of 1:43.9542 at 139.007 mph. The XPEL Grand Prix at Road America gets underway on Sunday at 2 pm on Fox.
