The Philadelphia Eagles signed Dallas Renegades defensive back Shaun Wade on Tuesday, according to James Larsen.
Shaun Wade is six foot and weighs 196 pounds. The 27-year-old from Jacksonville, Florida, was drafted by the Dallas Renegades in the 2026 UFL Draft. In 2026, he made 24 tackles (18 solos, 6 assists), three interceptions, nine pass breakups, and one forced fumble in eight games.
The Baltimore Ravens drafted Wade in the fifth round (160th pick) of the 2021 NFL Draft. He also spent time with the New England Patriots, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Chicago Bears. Wade made 26 tackles (23 solos, 3 assists), two tackles for loss, and one pass breakup in 20 games, all with the Patriots.
Collegiately, Wade spent three seasons at Ohio State University (2018-20) with 91 tackles (67 solos, 24 assists), five tackles for loss, two sacks, six interceptions, one returning touchdown, 19 pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 35 games for the Buckeyes. He was named Consensus All-American in 2022, Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year in 2020, First Team All-Big Ten in 2020, and Second Team All-Big Ten in 2019.
