Report: Columbus Aviators DE Jacoby Windmon to sign with Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed Columbus Aviators defensive end Jacoby Windmon on Tuesday, according to Michael Del Negro.

Jacoby Windmon is six foot two and weighs 250 pounds. The 24-year-old from New Orleans, Louisiana, signed with the Columbus Aviators on May 14, 2026. In 2026, he made six tackles (3 solos, 3 assists), two tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, and one forced fumble in three games.

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed Windmon as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. He also spent time with the Carolina Panthers. Windmon made 22 tackles (13 solos, 9 assists), one tackle for loss, 1.5 sacks, and two pass breakups in nine-career NFL games.

Collegiately, Windmon spent three seasons at UNLV (2019-21) with 169 tackles (100 solos, 69 assists), 18 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, four pass breakups, and three fumble recoveries in 30 games for the Rebels.
