The Chicago Bears are signing Columbus Aviators linebacker Tony Fields II on Monday, according to Michael Del Negro.
Tony Fields II is six foot and weighs 222 pounds. The 26-year-old from Las Vegas, Nevada, signed with the Columbus Aviators on February 24, 2026. In 2026, he was named to the All-UFL Team after leading the Aviators with 77 tackles (39 solos, 38 assists), five tackles for loss, and one sack in 10 games.
The Cleveland Browns drafted Fields II in the fifth round (153rd pick) of the 2021 NFL Draft. He spent four seasons in Cleveland with 88 tackles (48 solos, 40 assists), one tackle for loss, one interception for 16 yards, one touchdown, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and one fumble returned for a touchdown in 45 games, of which 10 were starts.
The Los Angeles Rams signed Fields II on January 21, 2025. In 2025, Fields II made 19 tackles (13 solos, 6 assists) and one sack in three preseason games. The Rams released Fields II on August 24, 2025.

Then, he transferred to West Virginia in 2020 with 88 tackles (34 solos, 54 assists), four tackles for loss, one sack, one interception for 22 yards, and three pass breakups in nine games for the Mountaineers.
He was named Second Team All-Big 12 by Phil Steele, the Big 12 Newcomer of the Year, 2020 All-Big 12 Conference football team, and the Reese’s Senior Bowl First Team All-American.
