The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series visited Dover Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon in the BetRivers 200. Ross Chastain started the race on the pole, with Brandon Jones starting second.
Ross Chastain led the opening 17 laps before losing the lead to Brandon Jones. Jones led 31 laps on his way to winning the first stage. Ross Chastain led a race-high 68 laps and won the second stage. The race saw nine cautions for 54 laps, including five in the final stage.
Jesse Love and Rajah Caruth got together on lap 101, and Taylor Gray and Ross Chastain got together on lap 121. Parker Retzlaff, Jeb Burton, and Blane Perkins were also involved in an earlier crash. A total of seven cars did not finish the race.
Late in the race, Justin Allgaier was leading the race when Cory Day passed him for the lead with four laps to go. Day would hold off Allgaier to win his second race of the season by 0.461 seconds. There was a total of 12 lead changes.
Sam Mayer, William Sawalich, and Austin Hill rounded out the top five. Brandon Jones, Carson Kvapil, Ryan Sieg, Sammy Smith, and Anthony Alfredo completed the top ten. Click here for the full results.
