The Calgary Stampeders signed quarterback Jacolby Criswell on Tuesday.
Jacolby Criswell is six foot one and weighs 230 pounds. The 24-year-old from Morrilton, Arkansas, spent four seasons at North Carolina (2020-23, 2025), completing 204 of 351 passes (58%) for 2,663 yards, 16 touchdowns, seven interceptions, 91 carries for 236 yards, and four rushing touchdowns in 26 games for the Tar Heels.
Criswell also spent time at Arkansas in 2023, where he completed 17 of 27 passes (63%) for 143 yards, three touchdowns, and 23 carries for 44 yards in four games for the Razorbacks. Criswell concluded his collegiate career at East Tennessee State University in 2025, where he completed 85 of 138 passes (62%) for 1,130 yards, nine touchdowns, two interceptions, and eight carries for 56 yards in eight games for the Buccaneers.
