The B.C. Lions signed quarterback Kaidon Salter on Monday.
Kaidon Salter is six foot one and weighs 195 pounds. The 23-year-old from Dallas, Texas, began his collegiate career at Tennessee in 2021, but did not play for the Volunteers. Next, he transferred to Liberty (2021-24), where he completed 412 of 702 passes (59%) for 5,887 yards, 56 touchdowns, 17 interceptions, 351 carries for 2,063 yards, 21 rushing touchdowns, and one tackle (1 solo) in 35 games for the Flames.
In 2023, he was named First Team All-Conference USA, Conference USA MVP, and the Conference USA Championship Game MVP, after finishing the season completing 177 of 290 passes (61%) for 2,876 yards, 32 touchdowns, six interceptions, 163 carries for 1,089 yards, 12 rushing touchdowns, and one tackle (1 solo) in 14 games.
Then, he transferred to Colorado in 2025, completing 113 of 179 passes (63%) for 1,242 yards, 10 touchdowns, six interceptions, 88 carries for 293 yards, five rushing touchdowns, and two tackles (2 solos) in eight games for the Buffaloes.
