The Birmingham Stallions released wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. on Saturday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Laviska Shenault Jr. is six foot two and weighs 200 pounds. The 27-year-old from DeSoto, Texas, was drafted by the Birmingham Stallions in the 2026 UFL Draft. In 2026, he made one catch for seven yards in four games.
The Jacksonville Jaguars drafted Shenault Jr. in the second round (42nd pick) in the 2020 NFL Draft. He also spent time with the Carolina Panthers, Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Chargers, and the Buffalo Bills.
Shenault Jr. made 163 catches for 1,587 yards, six touchdowns, 51 carries for 253 yards, one rushing touchdown, 25 kick returns for 708 yards, one returning touchdown, seven tackles (6 solos, 1 assist), one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in 30-career NFL games.
Collegiately, Shenault Jr. spent three seasons at Colorado (2017-19) with 149 catches for 1,943 yards, 10 touchdowns, 42 carries for 280 yards, seven rushing touchdowns, one kick return for 54 yards, 55-yard punt return for a touchdown, and six tackles (5 solos, 1 assist) in 32 games for the Buffaloes. He was named First Team All-PAC 12 Conference in 2018 and Second Team All-PAC 12 Conference in 2019.
