Montreal Alouettes sign WR Nathan Udoh, three others

The Montreal Alouettes signed wide receiver Nathan Udoh, defensive backs Harrison Daley and Shakespeare Louis, and punter Michael Horvat on Friday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Nathan Udoh is six foot one and weighs 215 pounds. The 23-year-old from Winnipeg, Manitoba, was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the third round (28th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.

Collegiately, Udoh spent four seasons at the University of Manitoba (2022-25) with 57 catches for 773 yards, three touchdowns, one carry for one yard, one kick return for -4 yards, punting the ball 30 times for 989 yards (33 AVG) with a long of 47 yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 28 games for the Bisons.

Harrison Daley is six foot three and weighs 218 pounds. The 23-year-old from Burlington, Ontario, was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the fifth round (46th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.

Collegiately, Daley spent five seasons at the University of Windsor (2021-25) with 80 tackles (46 solos, 34 assists), one tackle for loss, two interceptions, four pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one carry for -4 yards in 34 games for the Lancers.

Shakespeare Louis is six foot one and weighs 190 pounds. The 24-year-old from Ottawa, Ontario, was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the second round (17th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.

Collegiately, Louis spent three seasons at Robert Morris University (2021-23) with 46 tackles (32 solos, 14 assists) and four pass breakups in 20 games for the Colonials. Then, he transferred to Southeastern Louisiana University in 2025 with 44 tackles (27 solos, 17 assists), one tackle for loss, one interception, two pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 13 games for the Lions.

Michael Horvat is five foot nine and weighs 187 pounds. The 21-year-old from Hamilton, Ontario, was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the sixth round (55th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.

Collegiately, Horvat spent four seasons at McMaster University (2022-25), punting the ball 160 times for 7,369 yards (46.1 AVG), with a long of 79 yards, 86 kickoffs for 4,491 yards (52.2 AVG), making 61 of 74 field goals (82.4%) with a long of 49 yards, four tackles (4 solos), and completed one pass for 13 yards in 28 games for the Marauders. He was named Second Team U Sports All-Canadian in 2023, two-time First Team U Sports All-Canadian (2024-25), and First Team OUA All-Star in 2025.
