The Toronto Argonauts signed running back Weagbe Mombo, defensive back Ethan John, and kicker Nathan Walker on Friday.

Weagbe Mombo is five foot eleven and weighs 215 pounds. The 21-year-old from Toronto, Ontario, was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the eighth round (67th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.

Collegiately, Mombo spent four seasons at the University of Windsor (2022-25) with 135 carries for 1,274 yards, four rushing touchdowns, 15 catches for 93 yards, four kick returns for 95 yards, and four punt returns for 109 yards in 23 games for the Lancers.

In 2024, he was named Second Team All-OUA after finishing the season with 77 carries for 703 yards, three rushing touchdowns, and seven catches for 86 yards. In 2025, he had 10 carries for 82 yards and three catches for nine yards.

Ethan John is five foot nine and weighs 189 pounds. The 24-year-old from Felton, Minnesota, was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the second round (16th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.

Collegiately, John spent three seasons at the University of Windsor (2023-25) with 197 tackles (139 solos, 58 assists), 11 tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, 10 pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 29 games for the Lancers.

In 2025, he was named Second Team OUA All-Star and won Windsor’s prestigious DeMarco Award in 2025, the top male student-athlete who best combines academics and athletics after finishing the season with a career-high 72 tackles (57 solos, 15 assists), 2.5 tackles for loss, and two pass breakups in 10 games.

Nathan Walker is six foot two and weighs 190 pounds. The 21-year-old from Bowmanville, Ontario, was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the seventh round (57th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.

Collegiately, Walker spent four seasons at York University (2022-25), playing 29 games for the Lions. In 2025, Walker was named Second Team OUA All-Star after finishing the season by making 11 of 15 field goals (73%), making 19 of 21 extra points (90%), and punting the ball 48 times for 2,190 yards, posting a career-best average of 45.6 yards per punt.
