The CFL held the 2026 CFL Draft on Tuesday, and the Elks selected nine players. Here are the draft results.
Dariel Djabome is six foot two and weighs 237 pounds. A native of Longueuil, Québec, Djabome was drafted by the Edmonton Elks in the first round (3rd pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Djabome spent four seasons at Rutgers (2022-25) with 192 tackles (81 solos, 111 assists), 13 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, one pass breakup, four forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in 47 games for the Scarlet Knights.
In 2024, he was named Third Team All-Big Ten, All-Big Ten Honorable Mention, and a Cornish Trophy Finalist after finishing the season with a career-high 105 tackles (48 solos, 57 assists), 7.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, one pass breakup, and two forced fumbles in 13 games.
In 2025, he was named an All-Big Honorable Mention and a team captain after finishing the season with 71 tackles (27 solos, 44 assists), 4.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in 12 games.
Benjamin Sangmuah is six foot one and weighs 198 pounds. The 22-year-old from Scarborough, Ontario, was drafted by the Edmonton Elks in the second round (12th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft. He will attend the Indianapolis Colts rookie minicamp.
Collegiately, Sangmuah spent four seasons at the University of British Columbia (2022-25) with 162 tackles (95 solos, 67 assists), 7.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, five interceptions for 72 yards, one touchdown, 29 pass breakups, five forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in 41 games for the Thunderbirds. In 2025, he had a career-high 57 tackles (32 solos, 25 assists), 1.5 tackles for loss, one interception, 10 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in nine games.
Wesley Bailey is six foot five and weighs 250 pounds. A native of Ottawa, Ontario, Bailey was drafted by the Edmonton Elks in the second round (19th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft. He signed with the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent on April 25, 2026.
Collegiately, Bailey spent four seasons at Rutgers (2021-24) with 71 tackles (31 solos, 40 assists), 15 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, six pass breakups, and four fumble recoveries in 36 games for the Scarlet Knights. Then, he transferred to Louisville in 2025 with 39 tackles (17 solos, 22 assists), seven tackles for loss, and six sacks in 12 games for the Cardinals.
Carter Kettyle is six foot and weighs 196 pounds. The 22-year-old from Grovedale, Alberta, was drafted by the Edmonton Elks in the third round (21st pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Kettyle spent four seasons at the University of Alberta (2022-25) with 101 catches for 1,695 yards, 17 touchdowns, one carry for 39 yards, completing 3 of 4 passes (75%) for 52 yards, one touchdown, punting the ball 40 times for 1,582 yards (39.5 AVG), two kick returns for 68 yards, one touchdown, 10 punt returns for 80 yards, and two tackles (2 solos) in 25 games for the Golden Bears.
Spencer Walsh is six foot three and weighs 290 pounds. The 22-year-old from Brantford, Ontario, was drafted by the Edmonton Elks in the fourth round (32nd pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Walsh spent four seasons at Wilfrid Laurier (2022-25), playing 26 games for the Golden Hawks. In 2024, he helped Wilfrid Laurier win the Uteck Bowl and the Yates Cup, and in 2025 was named Second Team OUA All-Star. In 2024, Wilfrid Laurier averaged 38.3 points per game, 508.6 yards per game, 334.3 passing yards per game, 174.4 rushing yards per game, and 34 touchdowns.
Just Pace is six foot and weighs 218 pounds. The 23-year-old from Montreal, Quebec, was drafted by the Edmonton Elks in the third round (35th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Pace spent four seasons at Queen’s University (2022-25) with 232 tackles (132 solos, 100 assists), 13 tackles for loss, four sacks, six interceptions for 39 yards, one touchdown, eight pass breakups, three forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in 42 games for the Gaels.
He was named First Team U Sports All-Canadian in 2024 after finishing the season with a career-high 89 tackles (51 solos, 38 assists), six tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, two interceptions, two pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 10 games.
Chris Pashula is six foot three and weighs 314 pounds. The 22-year-old from Calgary, Alberta, was drafted by the Edmonton Elks in the sixth round (50th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Pashula spent four seasons at the University of Calgary (2022-25), playing left guard in 30 games for the Dinos. In 2025, Calgary averaged 24.4 points per game, 342.9 yards per game, 244.8 passing yards per game, 118.8 rushing yards per game, and 18 touchdowns.
Eloa Latendresse-Regimbald is six foot three and weighs 213 pounds. The 24-year-old from Montreal, Quebec, was drafted by the Edmonton Elks in the seventh round (58th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Latendresse-Regimbald spent four years at the University of McGill (2022-25), completing 468 of 901 passes (51.9%) for 7,245 yards, 29 touchdowns, 27 interceptions, 299 carries for 2,615 yards, 31 rushing touchdowns, one catch for six yards, punting the ball three times for 78 yards (26 AVG), and one tackle (1 solo) in 32 games for the Redbirds.
In 2025, he completed 98 of 206 passes (48%) for 1,590 yards, nine touchdowns, five interceptions, and 61 carries for 773 yards, and six rushing touchdowns in eight games.
Matthew Ljuden is five foot eleven and weighs 304 pounds. The 21-year-old from Grande Prairie, Alberta, was drafted by the Edmonton Elks in the seventh round (59th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Ljuden spent four seasons at the University of Alberta (2022-25), playing center in 21 games for the Golden Bears. In 2025, Alberta averaged 22.5 points per game, 406.8 yards per game, 299.1 passing yards per game, 107.6 rushing yards per game, and 22 touchdowns.
