The CFL held the 2026 CFL Draft on Tuesday night. The Toronto Argonauts selected 11 players.
Niklas Henning is six foot six and weighs 287 pounds. A native of Milton, Ontario, Henning will attend NFL rookie minicamps with the Indianapolis Colts and the Las Vegas Raiders. The Toronto Argonauts drafted Henning in the first round (2nd pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Henning spent five seasons at Queen’s University (2021-25), playing on the offensive line and tight end in 43 games for the Gaels. In 2023, he was named Second Team All-Canadian after finishing the season with seven catches for 104 yards and one touchdown in 10 games.
In 2025, he was named First Team OUA All-Star and Second Team All-Canadian after playing 11 games, helping Queen’s win the 117th Yates Cup. Queen’s averaged 37.4 points per game, 457.6 yards per game, 290 passing yards, 171.6 rushing yards per game, and 50 touchdowns.
Isaiah Smith is six foot one and weighs 213 pounds. The 22-year-old from Burlington, Ontario, was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the second round (11th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Smith spent four seasons at the University of Guelph (2022-25) with 141 carries for 880 yards, five rushing touchdowns, 32 catches for 369 yards, two touchdowns, one kick return for 16 yards, and seven tackles (4 solos, 3 assists) in 21 games for the Gryphons. In 2022, he was named OUA Rookie of the Year after finishing the season with 85 carries for 495 yards, three rushing touchdowns, and four catches for 19 yards in seven games.
Ethan John is five foot nine and weighs 189 pounds. The 24-year-old from Felton, Minnesota, was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the second round (16th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, John spent three seasons at the University of Windsor (2023-25) with 197 tackles (139 solos, 58 assists), 11 tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, 10 pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 29 games for the Lancers.
In 2025, he was named Second Team OUA All-Star and won Windsor’s prestigious DeMarco Award in 2025, the top male student-athlete who best combines academics and athletics after finishing the season with a career-high 72 tackles (57 solos, 15 assists), 2.5 tackles for loss, and two pass breakups in 10 games.
Louis-Philippe Gauthier is six foot and weighs 202 pounds. The 24-year-old from Montreal, Quebec, was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the third round (22nd pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Gauthier spent four seasons at the University of Montreal (2022-25) with 84 tackles, three forced fumbles, and eight interceptions (seven of them came in the playoffs) in 33 games. He helped Montreal win the Vanier Cup for the second time in three years. He was named an RSEQ All-Star in 2025.
Darius McKenzie is six foot one and weighs 224 pounds. The 24-year-old from Ottawa, Ontario, was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the third round (23rd pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, McKenzie spent three seasons at the University of Maine (2021-23) with 51 tackles (31 solos, 20 assists), five tackles for loss, two sacks, two pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 15 games for the Black Bears.
Then, he transferred to Southern Alabama (2024-25) with 143 tackles (51 solos, 92 assists), 7.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, five pass breakups, one quarterback hit, and one fumble recovery in 24 games for the Jaguars.
In 2025, he was named an All-Sun Belt Honorable Mention after finishing the season with 71 tackles (31 solos, 40 assists), four tackles for loss, one sack, one quarterback hit, and one pass breakup in 11 games.
Nolan Ulm is six foot two and weighs 205 pounds. The 24-year-old from Kelowna, British Columbia, was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the fourth round (30th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Ulm spent six seasons at Eastern Washington University (2020-25) with 117 catches for 1,330 yards, 11 touchdowns, one carry for two yards, and 19 tackles (10 solos, 9 assists) in 57 games for the Eagles. He was named Fourth Team All-Big Sky by Phil Steele in 2023.
Frank Vreugdenhil is six foot three and weighs 321 pounds. The 25-year-old from Bellville, Ontario, was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the fifth round (40th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Vreugdenhil went to the University of Toronto, where he earned the 2020 OUA bronze medal in the shot put for the Varsity Blues. He transferred to McMaster (2024-25), where he played 17 games for the Marauders.
Tyriq Quayson is six foot one and weighs 197 pounds. The 24-year-old from Vaughan, Ontario, was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the sixth round (49th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Quayson went to Wilfrid Laurier, where he competed in track and field for the Golden Hawks. He was named MVP and Rookie of the Year. Then, he transferred to Windsor. In 2025, he made 20 catches for 269 yards, four carries for 77 yards, five kick returns for 93 yards, one punt return for 20 yards, and one tackle (1 assist) in eight games for the Lancers.
Nathan Walker is six foot two and weighs 190 pounds. The 21-year-old from Bowmanville, Ontario, was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the seventh round (57th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Walker spent four seasons at York University (2022-25), playing 29 games for the Lions. In 2025, Walker was named Second Team OUA All-Star after finishing the season by making 11 of 15 field goals (73%), making 19 of 21 extra points (90%), and punting the ball 48 times for 2,190 yards, posting a career-best average of 45.6 yards per punt.
Weagbe Mombo is five foot eleven and weighs 215 pounds. The 21-year-old from Toronto, Ontario, was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the eighth round (67th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Mombo spent four seasons at the University of Windsor (2022-25) with 135 carries for 1,274 yards, four rushing touchdowns, 15 catches for 93 yards, four kick returns for 95 yards, and four punt returns for 109 yards in 23 games for the Lancers.
In 2024, he was named Second Team All-OUA after finishing the season with 77 carries for 703 yards, three rushing touchdowns, and seven catches for 86 yards. In 2025, he had 10 carries for 82 yards and three catches for nine yards.
Sebastian Parsalidis is five foot nine and weighs 224 pounds. The 22-year-old from Toronto, Ontario, was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the eighth round (68th pick) of the 2026 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Parsalidis spent five seasons at Wilfrid Laurier (2021-25) with nine catches for 72 yards, one touchdown, 11 tackles (8 solos, 3 assists), one tackle for loss, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick in 31 games for the Golden Hawks. He was named Second Team All-OUA in 2023, First Team All-OUA, and helped the Golden Hawks win the 2024 Uteck Bowl and 2023 Yates Cup.
