The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed tight end Maximilian Mang on Thursday.

Maximilian Mang is six foot seven and weighs 267 pounds. The 26-year-old from Potsdam, Germany, was drafted by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the second round (11th pick) of the 2026 CFL Global Draft.

Mang played for the Potsdam Royals of the German Football League (GFL) for three seasons (2016-18) before joining the Berlin Rebels, also from the German Football League, from 2018 to 2019. The Indianapolis Colts signed Mang as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025.

He was designated the team’s exempt/international player as part of the International Player Pathway (IPP). The Colts released him on August 25, 2025, and he signed with the New York Giants on November 24, 2025. He became a free agent after the 2025 season.

Collegiately, Mang spent five seasons at Syracuse (2020-24) with nine catches for 60 yards, one touchdown, two kick returns for 19 yards, and two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in 50 games for the Orange.
