The Montreal Alouettes signed offensive lineman Jakai Moore on Tuesday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Jakai Moore is six foot six and weighs 318 pounds. The 25-year-old from Nokesville, Virginia, began his collegiate career at South Carolina (2019-24), playing left tackle, left guard, right guard, and right tackle in 44 games, of which 28 were starts for the Gamecocks.
In 2023, he played 11 games, of which nine were starts. South Carolina averaged 26 points per game, 363.1 yards per game, 278 passing yards per game, 85.1 rushing yards per game, and 40 touchdowns.
Then, Moore transferred to North Carolina in 2025, playing 12 games for the Tar Heels. North Carolina averaged 19.3 points per game, 289.2 yards per game, 183.9 passing yards per game, 105.2 rushing yards per game, and 25 touchdowns.
