The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed quarterback Jacobian Morgan and offensive lineman Nolan Gorczyca on Monday.
Jacobian Morgan is six foot four and weighs 228 pounds. The 24-year-old from Canton, Mississippi, began his collegiate career at Syracuse University (2020-22), completing 32 of 50 passes (64%) for 288 yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions, and 12 carries for -25 yards in six games for the Orange.
Then, he transferred to Jackson State University (2023-25), completing 325 of 510 passes (64%) for 4,080 yards, 40 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, 186 carries for 668 yards, 13 rushing touchdowns, and one tackle (1 solo) in 26 games for the Tigers.
His best season at JSU came in 2024, when he finished the season completing 150 of 234 passes (64%) for 2,051 yards, 19 touchdowns, eight interceptions, 88 carries for 225 yards, and four rushing touchdowns, leading the Tigers to win the SWAC championship and the Cricket Celebration Bowl title. He was also named the Cricket Celebration Bowl Offensive MVP.
Nolan Gorczyca is six foot six and weighs 315 pounds. The 23-year-old from Omaha, Nebraska, began his collegiate career at the University of Buffalo in 2021, where he played four games for the Bulls.
Then, he transferred to Kansas (2022-25), playing 25 games for the Jayhawks. In 2025, he played 12 games, of which three were starts. Kansas averaged 28 points per game, 390.5 yards per game, 222.3 passing yards per game, 168.2 rushing yards per game, and 42 touchdowns.
