Andrew Dowell is six foot one and weighs 225 pounds. The 29-year-old from Cleveland, Ohio, was drafted by the Dallas Renegades in the 2026 UFL Draft. In 2026, Dowell made 16 tackles (6 solos, 10 assists) in three games.
The Dallas Cowboys signed Dowell as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2019. He suffered a hamstring injury during training camp and was released on August 10, 2019.
The New Orleans Saints signed Dowell on November 20, 2019. Dowell played three seasons in New Orleans with 22 tackles (13 solos, 9 assists) and two forced fumbles in 34 games. In 2024, Dowell made five tackles (4 solos, 1 assist) in one preseason game. The Saints released him on August 27, 2024.
