The St. Louis Battlehawks signed wide receiver Thomas Thayer and linebacker Tuasivi Nomura on Saturday according to the UFL Transactions page. They also placed linebacker Abraham Beauplan on injured reserve.

Thayer Thomas is six foot and weighs 195 pounds. The 27-year-old from Wake Forest, North Carolina, was drafted by the St. Louis Battlehawks in the 2026 UFL Draft. He attended training camp before the team released him on March 10, 2026.

The Minnesota Vikings signed Thomas as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. He spent three seasons in Minnesota with 13 catches for 92 yards, five punt returns for 18 yards, and one tackle (1 assist) in seven games. The Vikings released him on August 26, 2025. The Denver Broncos signed Thomas to the practice squad on September 3, 2025. They released him on October 18, 2025.

Collegiately, Thomas spent five seasons at North Carolina State University (2018-22) with 215 catches for 2,484 yards, 24 touchdowns, seven carries for 14 yards, completed 7 of 14 passes (50%) for 194 yards, four touchdowns, one kick return for 44 yards, 70 punt returns for 681 yards, and one touchdown in 62 games for the Wolfpack. He was named Third Team All-ACC in 2020.

Tuasivi Nomura is six foot one and weighs 221 pounds. The 25-year-old from Corona, California, signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. He attended training camp and was released on August 3, 2025. The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed Nomura to the practice squad on September 30, 2025. While on the practice squad, the Roughriders would win the 112th Grey Cup over the Montreal Alouettes. Saskatchewan released him on November 17, 2025.

Collegiately, Nomura played two seasons at USC (2019-22) with 35 tackles (16 solos, 19 assists), two tackles for loss, and one pass breakup in 33 games for the Trojans. Then, he transferred to Fresno State (2023-24) with 123 tackles (73 solos, 50 assists), nine tackles for loss, one sack, four pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 20 games for the Bulldogs.

He was named First Team All-Mountain West in 2024. He had four double-digit tackles in his final season, including a career-high 18 tackles against Air Force.

Abraham Beauplan is five foot eleven and weighs 241 pounds. The 26-year-old from Boynton Beach, Florida, was drafted by the St. Louis Battlehawks in the 2026 UFL Draft. This year, Beauplan made two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) against the Birmingham Stallions.

The Minnesota Vikings signed Beauplan as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. In 2023, he made seven tackles (4 solos, 3 assists) in two preseason games. He spent the majority of the season on injured reserve. The Vikings released him on July 31, 2024. The Detroit Lions signed Beauplan on August 11, 2024. In 2024, he made five tackles (4 solos, 1 assist) in two preseason games. He was dressed for three regular-season games. The Lions released him on May 27, 2025.

Collegiately, Beauplan spent two seasons at Navarro College (2018-19). In 2018, he made 43 tackles (34 solos, 9 assists), one tackle for loss, one sack, and one forced fumble in nine games for the Bulldogs. In 2019, he made a career-high 133 tackles (76 solos, 57 assists), 10.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one pass breakup in 11 games.

Then, he transferred to Marshall (2020-22) with 231 tackles (80 solos, 151 assists), 23 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, one interception, five forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in 35 games for the Thundering Herd. In 2021, he was named First Team All-CUSA after finishing the season with 110 tackles (43 solos, 67 assists), 11 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and one forced fumble in 13 games.
