The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed kicker Alex Hale on Friday.

Alex Hale is six foot one and weighs 203 pounds. The 27-year-old from Gosford, New South Wales, Australia, signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent on August 7, 2024. Hale did not play in the preseason. He was released on August 27, 2024, and later re-signed to their practice squad on August 28, 2024. The Packers released him again on July 21, 2025.

Collegiately, Hale spent six seasons at Oklahoma State University (2019-23), making 43 of 54 field goals (79.6%), with a long of 53 yards, 37 kickoffs for 2,274 yards (61.5 AVG), and 12 touchbacks in 31 games for the Cowboys. In 2023, he was named Second Team All-Big 12 after finishing the season by making 27 of 34 field goals (79.4%), with a long of 53 yards, 19 kickoffs for 1,204 yards (63.4 AVG), and six touchbacks in four games.
