The Saskatchewan Roughriders released wide receiver Ajou Ajou on Thursday after the CFL announced earlier that Ajou was suspended for the 2026 preseason and six additional regular-season games for violating the league’s Gender-Based Violence and Harassment Policy.
Ajou Ajou is six foot three and weighs 218 pounds. The 24-year-old from Brooks, Alberta, re-signed with the Roughriders on August 28, 2025. In 2025, he made 22 catches for 212 yards in eight games. In the 112th Grey Cup, Ajou made two catches for 13 yards when the Roughriders beat the Montreal Alouettes.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders drafted Ajou in the seventh round (59th pick) of the 2024 CFL Draft. In 2024, Ajou made 20 catches for 207 yards, two touchdowns, and one punt return for six yards in 12 games, helping the Roughriders reach the Western Final against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The Roughriders released him on January 22, 2025.
The Indianapolis Colts signed Ajou on January 24, 2025. In 2025, he made four catches for 27 yards in three preseason games. The Colts released him on August 26, 2025.
Collegiately, Ajou played two seasons at Clemson (2020-21) with eight catches for 114 yards and one touchdown in 22 games for the Tigers. Then, he transferred to the University of South Florida in 2023 with two catches for nine yards in one game against BYU before injuries ended his season.
