Houston Gamblers acquire OL Jackson Carman off waivers from Birmingham

The Houston Gamblers acquired offensive lineman Jackson Carman off waivers from the Birmingham Stallions on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Jackson Carman is six foot five and weighs 325 pounds. The 26-year-old from Fairfield, Ohio, was drafted by the Birmingham Stallions in the 2026 UFL Draft. In 2026, he played left guard in 176 snaps in three games. The Stallions released him on April 14, 2026.

The Cincinnati Bengals drafted Carman in the second round (46th pick) of the 2021 NFL Draft. He also spent time with the Miami Dolphins. Carman played 30 games in the NFL, 22 of them in Cincinnati and eight in Miami.

Collegiately, Carman spent three seasons at Clemson (2018-20), playing 40 games, of which 27 were snaps, and played 1,934 snaps for the Tigers. He started each of his last 27 games of his collegiate career. Carman helped the Tigers win the CFP National Championship in 2018. Carman was named Second Team All-ACC in 2019, and Second Team All-American by CBS Sports and First Team All-ACC in 2020.
