The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series visited Bristol Motor Speedway on Friday night in the Tennessee Army National Guard 250. Kaden Honeycutt started the race on the pole, with Christian Eckes starting second.
Christian Eckes dominated the majority of the race, leading a race-high 132 of 250 laps, including winning the first stage. Ben Rhodes, who led 13 laps, won the second stage.
The race saw nine cautions for 76 laps. On lap 188, Christopher Bell, who started in 15th place, passed Eckes to take the lead. Despite having another caution, Bell led the final 63 laps to win his first Truck Series race since 2017 by 0.330 seconds after Chandler Smith.
It was Bell’s eighth-career Truck Series win. Gio Ruggiero, Ross Chastain, and Christian Eckes rounded out the top five. Jake Garcia, Dawson Sutton, Kyle Busch, Carson Hocevar, and Brenden Queen completed the top ten.
Eight trucks did not finish the race. They were Corey LaJoie, Corey Heim, Kaden Honeycutt, Luke Baldwin, Timmy Hill, Tyler Reif, Frankie Munez, and Clayton Green. Click here to see the full finishing order.
