The Montreal Alouettes placed offensive lineman Arlington Hambright on the retired list on Thursday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Arlington Hambright is six foot five and weighs 300 pounds. The 30-year-old from Ypsilanti, Michigan, signed with the Montreal Alouettes on February 19, 2026.
The Chicago Bears drafted Hambright in the seventh round (226th pick) of the 2020 NFL Draft. He also spent time with the New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans, and the Tennessee Titans, playing 88 snaps in 15 career NFL games, of which was a start.
Collegiately, Hambright spent two seasons at Garden City Community College (2015-16), playing 22 games for the Broncbusters. In 2016, Garden City averaged 349.7 yards per game, 154.9 passing yards per game, 194.8 rushing yards per game, and 35 touchdowns to finish the season 11-0 and won the NJCAA National Championship.
Next, he transferred to Oklahoma State (2017-18), playing six games for the Cowboys in 2018 before an injury ended his season. In the six games he played, Oklahoma State averaged 43.3 points per game, 537.8 yards per game, 317.2 passing yards per game, and 220.7 rushing yards per game.
Then, he transferred to Colorado in 2019, starting 12 games for the Buffaloes. Colorado averaged 23.5 points per game, 388.5 yards per game, 238.2 passing yards per game, 150.3 rushing yards per game, and 33 touchdowns.
