The B.C. Lions released defensive lineman Marcus Moore on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Marcus Moore is six foot one and weighs 280 pounds. The 28-year-old from Pasadena, California, re-signed with the B.C. Lions on February 4, 2025. In 2025, he made two tackles in five games. Moore spent the majority of the season on the practice squad.

The B.C. Lions signed Moore on September 15, 2022. He did not play for the Lions in 2022. In 2023, he made one tackle and one interception in two games. In 2024, Moore made seven tackles and two sacks in seven games. He missed most of the season with an Ankle injury.

Collegiately, Moore played two seasons at UCLA (2017-18) with 23 tackles (15 solos, 8 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble in 17 games for the Bruins. Then, he transferred to Utah State (2020-21) with 65 tackles (32 solos, 33 assists), 13 tackles for loss, three sacks, and one fumble recovery in 19 games for the Aggies. He was named an All-Mountain West Honorable Mention in 2020.
