The Birmingham Stallions re-signed defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey on Tuesday according to the X account State of the Stallions.
Perrion Winfrey is six foot four and weighs 292 pounds. The 25-year-old from Maywood, Illinois, signed with the Dallas Cowboys on June 20, 2025. In 2025, Winfrey made six tackles (3 solos, 3 assists), one sack, two quarterback hits, and one pass breakup in three preseason games. Winfrey played in one regular-season game against the Los Angeles Chargers with two tackles (2 solos). The Cowboys released him on March 3, 2026.
The Cleveland Browns drafted Winfrey in the fourth round (108th pick) of the 2022 NFL Draft. He played one season in Cleveland with 22 tackles (8 solos, 14 assists), one tackle for loss, half a sack, and two pass breakups in 13 games. The Browns released him on July 19, 2023.
