The Columbus Aviators placed wide receiver Devin Ross on the injured reserve list on Monday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Devin Ross is five foot nine and weighs 196 pounds. The 30-year-old from Los Angeles, California, did not play in Sunday’s game against the Orlando Storm.
The Tennessee Titans signed Ross as an undrafted free agent on May 11, 2018. In 2018, he caught six passes for 80 yards in three preseason games. He spent most of the season on and off the practice squad. The Titans released him on May 14, 2019. The Philadelphia Eagles signed Ross on May 28, 2019. They released him on July 16, 2019.
The New England Patriots signed Ross to the practice squad on October 15, 2019. In 2020, he returned to the team’s practice squad. In 2021, Ross played in two preseason games. The Patriots released him on August 24, 2021.
The Michigan Panthers drafted Ross in the eighth round (338th pick) of the 2022 USFL Draft. He caught 28 passes for 309 yards, one touchdown, and one carry for eight yards in nine games. In 2023, Ross played three games for the Panthers, targeted one time before an injury sidelined him for the rest of the season. The Las Vegas Raiders signed Ross on August 30, 2023, but he was released a day later.
In 2024, Ross made three catches for 58 yards in two games before an injury sidelined him for the rest of the season. In 2025, he made six catches for 91 yards, one touchdown, two punt returns for two yards, and two tackles (2 solos) in eight games.
Collegiately, Ross played five seasons at Colorado (2013-17) with 143 catches for 1,643 yards, nine touchdowns, seven carries for 34 yards, and five kick returns for 107 yards in 49 games for the Buffaloes.
